Places to Eat

These are our favorite places to eat. Tap on the pin icon or photo (which is real!) to go to Google Maps or the location’s website.

Homegrown

The best brunch in Atlanta and Justin’s favorite restaurant. Huge pancakes and southern comfort food.

Ria’s Bluebird

Another quality brunch spot but with healtheir options than Homegrown if that’s for some reason important to you but I mean it’s brunch. Treat yoself.

Antico’s

They actually import their dough and other ingredients daily from Italy, so you know it’s legit.

YEAH! Burger

They serve tasty (slightly pricy) burgers, fries, and shakes that are "better for the environment, for the farmers and for the animals they raise.”

Octane Coffee

Ok so neither of us are coffee drinkers but if you are, this is the place to go. There’s also a tiny bakery inside the shop.

Sweet Hut Bakery and Cafe

We love going here for the pastries that remind us of Japan and delicious Bubble Tea. And they validate parking!

Things to Do

Unsurprisingly, a few of these options also include food.

High Museum of Art and Museum of Design Atlanta

Conveniently located to another Atlanta landmark – Justin’s college dorm. Get a 2-in-1 visit by walking over to MODA across the street.

National Center for Civil and Human Rights

A must visit.

BeltLine Eastside Trail

That’s our friend Sam and his joggers taking a break from a run on the trail. It’s a beautiful path with lots of street art, Tiny Doors, and shops (make a stop at King of Pops or Jake’s Ice Cream)

Krog Street Market

A trendy hub of food spots and shopping along the BeltLine.

Centennial Olympic Park

No one will be running around in the fountains in December, but we’ve enjoyed taking walks here since the park is close to Georgia Tech’s campus.

Ponce City Market

Another trendy hub of offices (Mailchimp), shops (Citizen Supply), and food (best ramen we’ve found in Atlanta). You can also try out Google Fiber here!
